Write the store-wide schema Google reads for every product.

Fill in your store’s details once. The generator writes the JSON-LD that applies across your store: your Organization with its return policy and shipping service, the site name Google shows, breadcrumbs and FAQ markup, each checked as you type against the rules Google documents.

Put it on your home page, once. Test it with the Schema Markup Checker.

    Why store-wide

Set returns and shipping once, for every product

Google shows a product’s delivery cost, delivery time and return window in shopping results. It reads them from Merchant Center first, then from each product’s markup, then from your Organization markup. A store with one policy for everything can state it once, here, instead of on every product.

    Store and policies

    Organization

Your name, logo, contact details and profiles, with a MerchantReturnPolicy and a ShippingService, including a free shipping threshold, in the shapes Google documents.

    Site name

    WebSite

The name Google shows above your results, set on the home page.

    Breadcrumbs

    BreadcrumbList

The path from your home page to a product or collection, with at least two steps as Google asks.

    FAQ

    FAQPage

Questions and answers in plain markup. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026; other search engines and AI assistants still read it.

    Where it goes

    Adding it to your store

    Shopify

    The theme’s layout file

In Online Store, Themes, Edit code, paste the Organization and WebSite script tags into theme.liquid before the closing head tag, wrapped in a check for the home page template so they print once. Remove any app or theme block that already adds them.

    WooCommerce

    Your SEO plugin first

SEO plugins usually print Organization and WebSite markup already. Fill in their settings, and add only the return and shipping policies the plugin leaves out.

    Product markup

    The other half

Each product’s own price, stock and identifiers come from its Product markup. Write that with the Product Schema Generator.

    Questions

    About the Schema Markup Generator

What does the Schema Markup Generator write?

Four kinds of store-wide JSON-LD: an Organization or OnlineStore with logo, contact details, a MerchantReturnPolicy and a ShippingService; a WebSite with the site name for results; a BreadcrumbList for a page’s path; and an FAQPage. For one product’s own price, stock and identifiers, use the Product Schema Generator.

Why put the return policy and shipping on the Organization?

Google reads return and shipping details for shopping results from Merchant Center first, then from each product’s markup, then from Organization markup. A store with one policy for everything can state it once on the Organization and have it apply to every product.

Can it mark up free shipping over an order value?

Yes. Enter the shipping cost and the order value above which shipping is free, and the generator writes two shipping conditions: the cost below the threshold and free delivery above it.

Where do I add the code on Shopify?

In Online Store, Themes, Edit code, open theme.liquid and paste the script tags before the closing head tag, inside a check for the home page template so they print once. If an app or the theme already adds Organization or WebSite markup, change that instead of adding a second block.

Will FAQ markup give me FAQ rich results?

No. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results for every site in May 2026. The generator still writes valid FAQPage markup, which other search engines and AI assistants read, and it says so beside the code.

How do I check the markup once it is live?

Run the page through the free Schema Markup Checker. It reads every schema type on the page, checks each against Google’s rules and links to Google’s Rich Results Test for the final word.
