Write product schema Google can use.
Fill in what you know about one product. The generator writes Product JSON-LD with its offer, variants, shipping and return policy as Google documents them, checks every value as you type, and gives you a Shopify Liquid version that fills itself in for every product.

Where it goes
One complete Product block per page
Most store platforms already print some product markup. The aim is one complete block, not two that disagree, so check what the page has before you add anything.
Shopify
Replace the theme’s block, do not add a second
Shopify themes print Product markup from the product template, usually with a single structured_data line. Copy the Shopify Liquid version, then in Online Store, Themes, Edit code, put it in place of that line in the main product section. Every product then gets complete markup, variants included.
WooCommerce
Through your SEO plugin
WooCommerce prints Product markup itself and SEO plugins such as Yoast and Rank Math extend it. Use the plugin’s schema settings for brand, GTIN, shipping and returns where it offers them.
Any other site
In the page head
Paste the script tag into the product page template, inside the head or anywhere in the body, with the values filled from the product. Then run the page through the checker.
Colours and sizes
Product variants as one ProductGroup
A shirt in three colours and four sizes is one product with twelve variants. Marking them up as one ProductGroup, with each variant’s own SKU, barcode, price and stock, tells Google they belong together, so it can show the right colour and size in shopping results instead of treating them as rival products.
productGroupID
What they share
The parent product’s SKU, or a name of your choosing. It stays the same for every variant of the product.

What changes
Colour, size or both, worked out from the variant lines you enter.
hasVariant
Each variant
Its own name, SKU, GTIN and offer, priced from its line or from the main price when the line leaves it empty.
Questions
About the Product Schema Generator
What does the Product Schema Generator produce?
A JSON-LD block describing one product: its name, images, description, brand, SKU, GTIN or MPN, colour, size and material, and an offer with price, currency, stock and condition. Shipping cost and delivery time, a return policy and an average rating are added when you fill them in.
Where do I put the code on Shopify?
Most Shopify themes already print Product markup on every product page, so adding a second block creates two descriptions that can disagree. Check the page with the Schema Markup Checker first. Then copy the Shopify Liquid version from this generator and put it in place of the theme’s own structured data line in the product template, so every product gets one complete block, variants included.
Where do I put the code on WooCommerce?
WooCommerce prints its own Product markup, and SEO plugins such as Yoast and Rank Math extend it. Add missing properties through your SEO plugin’s schema settings where it offers them, and check the result with the Schema Markup Checker so you do not end up with two Product blocks.
Can it write markup for product variants?
Yes. Enter one variant per line with its SKU, colour, size, price and GTIN, and the generator writes a ProductGroup with each variant as its own Product and offer, which is how Google asks for colours and sizes of one product to be marked up.
What is the Shopify Liquid version?
A snippet for your theme’s product template that reads each product’s own title, description, images, vendor, price, stock and barcodes from Shopify, so one block of code gives every product complete markup. Your shipping and return policy from the form are written in once. Put it in place of the theme’s own structured data line so each page keeps a single Product block.
Should I add a rating if I have no reviews?
No. Mark up a rating only when the page shows real customer reviews with that average and count. Ratings that do not match the page break Google’s guidelines and can cost the page its rich results.
Should shipping and returns go on every product?
Only if they differ by product. Google reads shipping and returns from Merchant Center first, then from product markup, then from site-wide Organization markup, so a store with one policy for everything can set it once.
Can I start from a page that already has markup?
Yes. Run the page through the Schema Markup Checker and choose to open its result in the generator: every value the page already states is filled in for you, and the gaps are the empty fields.
